Sentot Alibasyah Tomb

 

Vacation Star | Sentot Alibasyah Tomb | Sentot Alibasyah is a supporter warlord Prince Diponegoro, at Diponegoro war (1825-1830). After the defeat of Prince Diponegoro, Sentot and his followers used by the Dutch to fight the Padri in West Sumatra.
Since it is considered sympathetic to the struggle of the Padri, Sentot Alibasyah finally disposed of until his death in Bengkulu. The tomb is located in the Village Sentot Alibasyah Plough, Segara Bay District.


The tomb is located at coordinates 20.7 ll 47l 03o south latitude and 48.4 15L II 102o east longitude. In the Dutch colonial era where the tomb is located just outside the city. Currently because of the expansion of the city, the tomb is located in the city.

In a written Sentot tomb burial date 17 April 1885. The tomb is located at an altitude of 38 m above sea level. Located approximately 1.2 miles from Fort Marlborough to the angle of 94o. Building cupola tomb Sentot Alibasyah style buildings "Tabot" and have the privilege, namely in the cupola shows no grave marker, as is usually the grave of Muslims in Indonesia.

Cupola, measuring 570 x 420 cm, and berdenah rectangles with the pillars in some parts of the cupola. The central section (the tomb) also berdenah rectangular with a size 327 x 184 cm.
