Pariaman Naval Monument


Vacation Star | Pariaman Naval Monument | Pariaman Naval Monument built to commemorate the struggle against the Dutch Pariaman. Pariaman on independence famous because it is a strong naval base which makes it difficult to enter the Dutch troops Pariaman.
At a location called the fort now, located in downtown Pariaman, precisely in the Struggle Monument Road 45, located a former fortress of popular resistance against the aggression of Pariaman in the Netherlands. Here the fall as many as 36 members of ALRI and 4 survivors escape. This incident occurred on January 6, 1949. ALRI was led by Lieutenant I Wagimin, a former member of Kaygun.
