Sala Lauak


Vacation Star | Sala Lauak | Sala is Minang language which means fried and Lauak mean fish. Sala Lauak is fried like a ping pong ball-sized saffron yellow.
Composed of rice flour, chilli, turmeric, garlic, onions, salt, and salted fish. Salty fish flavor contained in the spiced flour lumps that makes 'sala' named Sala Lauak. Not only Sala Lauak is typical food of Pariaman people, but there are many other foods. Like fried crab, curry diamond nails, kacimuih, lamang sipuluik, onde-onde, lompong sago, and other foods.
