Bingkudu Ancient Mosque


Vacation Star | Bingkudu Ancient Mosque | Bingkudo ancient mosque is the oldest and largest mosques in the area. This mosque was founded by lareh Candung who holds Inyiak Basa (Haji Salam) in 1823 masehi, is located in the Nagari Bingkudu.

 

Location of the establishment of the mosque, is the agreement of 4 delegates who represent the area around Bingkudu. Inside the mosque there is a pulpit of wood construction. At the top of the pulpit, found the number 1316 H or 1906 masehi in addition there is also a hanging lamp and wall lamps mounted on the ancient pillars of the mosque. Inside the mosque complex, there is the tomb of a dominie who was very influential in this area, namely Sheikh Ahmad Taher, who died on July 13, 1962
