Cingkuak Island


Vacation Star | Cingkuak Island | Cingkuak Island, with an area of ​​4.5 hectares, dealing with Batu Kereta Island, located in Carocok Painan Beach region.

 

The island is a silent witness to the colonial heritage in the South Pesisir, which at that time an economic center and port of the west coast of Sumatra.


In Cingkuak Island we can see the Portuguese fort and the inscription of Madame van Kempen. Many tourists visited the  Cingkuak Island beside the student who do outdoor activities like camping, hiking and is also often used as objects of research each year by the Institute of Archaeology, located in Medan.
