Vacation Star | Root Bridge | Root Bridge is located in the Pulut-pulut village, north Bayang district. This attraction is 24 Km from Painan and 65 Km from Padang.
The Root Bridge is an attraction that is unique because the bridge is formed from the unification the root fabric of a banyan tree, thus forming a bridge, and an attractive again in the bottom, there is the river / bayang trunk, which can be used for rafting activities.
The Root Bridge was first built by a community leader named Pakiah Sokan in 1916 with the aim to connect the two villages separated by the river. Condition of the Root Bridge is becoming increasingly stronger as the magnitude of the roots of a banyan tree that formed it. The length of this bridge is 25 meter with a width 1.5 meter, every day off this place is always crowded with tourists.
