Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park

As the conservation area Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park covering 94 698 hectares. Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park serves as nature reserves and wildlife areas and water conservation areas.


The park is rich with a variety of rare flora and fauna. Muka Rimau Salo and Mapau fungus, which is quite rare endemic plants, found this forest region. 

 

In addition, in the forests of Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park, also found 59 species of rare fauna, including: Sumatran elephant, Sumatran tiger, and so forth. In the National Park was established museums and forest fire training center, the museum we can see different types of flora and fauna.  


Bukit Tiga Puluh National Park is ideal for a variety of tourist activities, adventure annd sports activities that are challenging, such as rafting and so on. 


In this park, there are also communities, Talang Mamak tribe (one - one and backward tribes in Riau) who still live traditionally, and very dependent on the forest.
